Where are you located?

We are located in NOSARA on the GUANACASTE PENINSULA. Our private community LA BAJURA is inside of FINCA LA REINA in SANTA MARTA/NOSARA.

“La Bajura” is a local term used to describe the inland plains and authentic community heart of Nosara — a quieter, more traditional side of the area surrounded by nature and local culture, just a short drive from the beaches of Playa Guiones. Here, you’ll find the true rhythm of Nosara: open landscapes, local markets, farms, and a deeper connection to Guanacastecan life.

Tucked between the jungle and the coast, our location offers the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and easy access to surf, restaurants, wellness experiences, and the vibrant beach community nearby.

What are some helpful tips?

Transportation Options

  • Private airport shuttles from Liberia (LIR) or San José (SJO) directly to Nosara

  • Rental cars & SUVs, ideal if you want to explore beaches, waterfalls, and nearby towns at your own pace

  • ATV rentals are one of the most popular ways to experience Nosara’s beach roads and jungle paths

Eco-friendly Notes

  • Preserve water

  • Don’t flush too much toilet paper, and absolutely nothing besides it (no wipes, feminine hygiene products, paper towels, or anything besides waste or toilet paper)

House Rules

  • Always lock up

  • Food attracts ants and animals, please store appropriately

  • Keep clean to keep pest free

  • No smoking

Safety Precautions

  • Don’t leave your belongings unattended at the beach - be sure to leave valuables locked up at the property and stay aware of your surroundings
